Milwaukee, Day Six

I got up before Beth went to work, so I could ask about internet access. She logged me into her dialup account and went off to her volunteer job and work. I messed around on ICB, and updated the Oracle, and talked with my Spacebarian associates. About 4:15, Beth called to tell me that she had to work another shift and would probably not be home until nine or midnight. I began to feel relatively like an annoyance, but I could understand the extra work thing. Eventually, I talked to Jill and then decided to go to Beth’s work to have some food.

We hung out until she could go, or a little before ten, but I didn’t really talk to her very much, her being quite busy with her work. I was pretty tired after sitting around the house of a family I’d never met all day. We drove home almost directly after she finished her work, talked to her parents for a few minutes, and it was time for me to go up to bed. Early flight in the morning will probably suck. Although I’ve had a great time in Milwaukee, I’m ready to go home to California. Hopefully, I’ll see her there during her train trip next month, stress-free and able to hang out.
