Happy Valentine’s Day
Happy Valentine’s Day.
I didn’t have to work today, but I went in anyway to see if any of the people I met this weekend sent me e-mail (I, for the record, do not check work e-mail from home). After all, I gave away six business cards on Friday and Saturday nights.
I got e-mail from Sally and a phone message from Taylor (sorry, I didn’t catch your home number. Your cell was seriously breaking up). I noodled around at the office for a while, then came home. I dunno if I’ll even wander out this evening for coffee. It seems pretty pointless.
I would like to take this opportunity to shout out my homie, Isabella. She has a radio show, like I used to. Well, okay. Not like I used to. Hers is much more groovadelic than mine. Mine was just jazz.
Maybe I’ll go out to coffee after all. I could probably use more friends.
